Romanian from Banat country, editor of the newspaper “Tribuna” in Arad, a fighter for the rights of the Romanians, persecuted and imprisoned by the Hungarian authorities for his actions in support of the memorandums, organizes a great demonstration in Lipova and was arrested. A Romanian defender of rights was arrested, convicted and imprisoned several times for his articles, becoming a symbol of the national resistance of the Romanians from Banat and Transylvania. Volunteer in the Romanian army in 1917 he leaves for Kiev to publish the Romanian Mare newspaper for the Romanian prisoners of war in Darniţa and organizes the Romanian prisoners to Paris to support the movement of Romanian emigration and the struggle for Union. Arrested in 1950, he died in unknown conditions in Sighet prison.
