Romanian lawyer from Beiuş, a law doctor, sent to the Austrian-Hungarian Army, delegated to the Great National Assembly in Alba Iulia. Located in the Transylvanian territory of the Hungarian administration, in December 1918 and early 1919, he was one of the leaders of the Romanians in the area, protesting against the Hungarian abuses against the participants in the Alba Iulia Assembly, a voice of the oppressed Romanians was arrested, liberated, re-arrested in April 1919, and scandalized, mutilated and killed alongside Ioan Ciordas, one of the martyrs of the national struggle.
